Accessibility
Last updated 2026-08-16
This site was built to be usable with a keyboard, with a screen reader, and at a text size you choose. This page records what that means concretely, rather than asserting a compliance badge.
What is built in
Every interactive element has a visible keyboard focus indicator, and a skip link lets you bypass the navigation.
Headings are structured in order without skipped levels, and each section can be linked to directly.
Form fields have permanent visible labels rather than placeholder text, and errors are described in words and connected to the field they belong to — never signalled by color alone.
Interactive targets are at least 44 by 44 pixels.
Meaningful images carry alternative text describing what they show. Decorative rule-work is hidden from assistive technology.
If your system is set to reduce motion, transitions are disabled.
The standard we work to
We build toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA. We test contrast on rendered pages rather than assuming it from a palette, and we check keyboard operation at mobile, tablet and desktop widths.
We are not claiming a formal audit or certification. When we have one, this page will say who performed it and when.
If something does not work
If any part of this site is difficult or impossible for you to use, tell us what you were trying to do and what happened. We will fix it and we will not ask you to justify the request.
